 MEDIA AND NOTICES IMIG Conference International Mesothelioma Interest Group (IMIG) Perth,
Western Australia hosted the 6th IMIG International Conference from December
1 - 4, 2002. The aim of the conference was to bring together researchers
in basic science and clinical practice who share common interests in areas
of mesothelial cell and mesothelioma biology including repair, cell transformation
and carcinogenesis, pathology, diagnosis and treatment. In short the scientists
and researchers both national and international had a common interest
to find treatments, which will lead to a cure for malignant mesothelioma.
