ADSA 'Steve Aiberti Memorial Walk' for Research and Awareness 2016 Geraldton to Perth — 10 September 2016 to 16 September 2016

In the year that marks the 50th Anniversary of the closure of the Wittenoom Blue Asbestos Mine the ADSA Walk 2016 honours the memory of Steve Aiberti, ADSA Committee Member for many years and the Walker Coordinator for every ADSA Walk. Steve grew up in Wittenoom and briefly worked with Australian Blue Asbestos before joining the Royal Australian Navy.

He was committed to supporting research into a cure for asbestos caused mesothelioma. Sadly Steve himself succumbed to mesothelioma in June this year and his family has graciously consented to naming the ADSA Walk 2016 in his memory.

The ADSA Walk 2016 is from Geralton to Perth on the Midlands Road. The official start of the ADSA Walk 2016 is on the Geraldton Foreshore,
Sunday 11 September 2016 at 11:00am.

Everyone is welcome to join us on the Geraldton Foreshore for the start of the ADSA Walk 2016.
